Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Manage how Hearth uses analytics and honor your California privacy opt-out rights.
Effective June 13, 2026 · Version 2026-06-13
1. Your choices
Hearthmade ("Hearth") does not sell your personal information for money.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), certain analytics and advertising-related data transfers may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. This page lets you opt out of that sharing.
You can also manage this preference in Settings under Legal & Privacy when signed in.
2. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Hearth treats it as a request to opt out of sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, to the extent required by California law.
When GPC is enabled, we disable PostHog analytics capture for that browser session and persist your opt-out preference locally.
3. What opting out does
- Stops PostHog product analytics events tied to your browser (signup funnels, map usage, checkout events).
- Does not affect transactional data needed to complete orders, security logging, or payment processing through Stripe.
- Does not disable essential cookies or storage required for sign-in and basket functionality.
- Does not limit your other California privacy rights (access, deletion, correction). See our Privacy Policy at /privacy.
4. Other privacy requests
For access, deletion, or correction requests, email hello@hearthmade.app with the subject line "California Privacy Request."
